Inuit legend says that one day, a warrior was walking along the coast of Labrador and was surprised to find the lights of the Aurora Borealis trapped inside the dark rocks along the shore. He freed them with his spear, smashing the rocks and revealing the Northern Lights within. He believed the rocks had fallen from the sky, trapping the firey luminescence inside.

With such magickal lore surrounding the stone dating back to its discovery, it is no wonder that labradorite is still beheld as the stone of mystics. Its otherworldly appeal does not end with its colorful flashes and mythology; labradorite energy is some of the most precious in the crystal realm.

Clears & Charges Each Chakra

Because of its multicolored flashes, labradorite is known to unlock and regulate the energies in each chakra, from root to crown, even extending to the earth star and auric chakras.

Labradorite is a powerful meditation tool, allowing you to pull excess energies down through the root chakra, resulting in a clear mind, enhanced psychic ability, a healthy and flowing fountain of communication, an open and loving heart, a healthy ego (sense of self), inspired creativity, and a grounded sense of passion.

Unlocks Psychic Potential

Stimulating our third eye, our psychic center, labradorite unlocks so many doors of perception -- clairvoyance, lucid dreaming, astral projection, telepathy, access to the Akashic records and so much more.

Labradorite says "if you can dream it, you can be it," paving the way for successful manifestation. It is also a great ally for psychic or oracle readings, opening the channel for visionary experiences tied to the past and future.

Emotional Stability & Protection

In addition to its ability to charge each chakra and open the door to psychic perception, labradorite is also a potent way to combat symptoms of anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues due to its grounding and calming nature. Almost as if absorbing the negativity within, labradorite abolishes the feeling of unrest and looming darkness, leaving behind a solid foundation for positivity to flourish.

While labradorite is a great tool for opening the psychic channel, its also equally useful for creating a psychic shield. If you have someone in your life who is draining your energy, whether consciously or subconsciously, labradorite can help you build a metaphysical wall to protect your own well-being. This can come in handy when you wish to maintain your own mental health but not totally cut a person out of your life, or it can be used to amplify the effects of something more dramatic and final, like cord cutting.
