Bee balm (Monarda didyma), is in the mint family. It is closely related to what some folks call bergamot (Monarda fistulosa), with a purple flower. Bee balm is sometimes also called wild oregano.
Bee balm or wild oregano is a great subsitute for store bought oregano. This salt is infused this wonderful flavor making it fantastic as a seasoning on melons!
