Obtained from Styrax Benzoin, a tropical tree native to Eastern Asia, Benzoin of Sumatra Resin has a slightly sweet scent, akin to vanilla, which makes it great for use as a natural incense. It energy is calming and grounding, making it a great ally for work with the root chakra. In its resin form, it can be sprinkled overtop a charcoal tab in a fire-safe burner.
